Welcome to the home of Assistants Etrangers, the webring for language assistants in France. This ring consists of websites and blogs by (and for) current and former assistants. We hope that you will find the information on these sites both interesting and useful, as the purpose is to bring together the many different experiences of all language assistants.
The qualifications for a site to be accepted into the ring are quite simple: The content must be somehow related to the language assistant experience in France. Blogs of assistants and their family members (and special friends) are particularly welcome, but we also have room for informational sites related to the assistantship program. Sites must demonstrate a link with the program in some capacity in order to be accepted.
Please note: You need to be able to add a clickable HTML link to your site in order to be a fully participating member of the ring. Hosts such as Bebo do not currently allow their users to do this. If you use a host that doesn't allow this, please send them feedback letting them know you would like to have this ability.
You will need to have the following information handy to sign up:
- Your site's title
- A short description
- Your site's URL
- A site ID (this can be of your choosing, but it will be the method by which your site is identified within the webring system)
- A password (also of your choosing)
- Your name
- Your email address
